Our loving husband, father, brother and grandfather, Cullen W. George, age 72, died March 6, 1996 in Salt Lake City.
Born July 5, 1923 in Kanosh, Utah, a son of Elmer and Ambernettie Abbott George. Married Molly Lou Edwards November 13, 1954 in Kanosh. He was a carpenter by trade and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Cullen enjoyed the outdoors and fishing as well as working with a scroll saw cutting intricate wood designs.
Survived by his wife; daughters, Linda (Kurt) Williams, Cathy (Stewart) Poore, Paula (Don) deMello, Lari (Dirk) Markestein; brothers, DeVoe and Elmer George; also by 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at the West Jordan South Building, 7511 So. 2700 West, where friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Under the direction of McDougal West Jordan Mortuary.
