Violet E. “Missy” Friedrichs, age 90, of Sauk Centre, died peacefully on Monday, March 11, 2013 at the CentraCare Health Systems Hospital in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 15 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. Todd Schneider officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church in Sauk Centre.
Violet Elnora Wallin was born July 16, 1922 in Birchdale Township, Todd County, Minnesota to Joseph and Mary (Wingert) Wallin. On February 5, 1946 she was united in marriage to Gerard “Bud” Friedrichs at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. The couple farmed in Birchdale Township, Todd County until 1969. She was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Sauk Centre.
Violet enjoyed playing cards, reading and watching the Minnesota Twins.
