Martha worked as a secretary for the Missouri Department of Education and was a member of Community Christian Church. She was a longtime volunteer and supporter of numerous civic and philanthropic organizations. She enjoyed taking walks and reading in her spare time.
Along with her husband Donald, she is survived by two sons: David A. Baker of Granville, Ohio, Philip D. Baker and wife Joyce of Jefferson City; and two granddaughters: Michelle Baker of St. Louis and Katie Baker of Granville, Ohio.
Friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at Community Christian Church, 409 Ellis Blvd., where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Avery officiating. Entombment will be held in the church’s columbarium. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Community Christian Church or Heisinger Bluffs.
