DIED.
At ten minutes after three o'clock Sunday afternoon, the 24th inst., death invaded the household of Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Fournet and took from them their dear little boy, Clarence Francois, who was aged 7 years and 6 months.

Clarence who was a kind, affectionate child, was the idol of the family and was the spoiled child of the grandmother, Mrs. Gustave Fournet, and he spent most of his time at the home of his grandmother whom he loved very dearly.

Friday he was taken sick with a severe attack of pneumonia. So severe was the character of the disease, that the tender care of loving parents and medical skill proved of no avail, and at the time stated above, his little soul left this world of sorrow and grief, to go where happiness and sunshine is everlasting.

Clarence was a pupil of the High School, and Monday the school was closed out of respect of his memory and all the pupils and teachers attended his funeral at three o'clock in the afternoon, the children followed the remains of their little friend, two by two and made a long procession. After them came the friends and relatives. We have seldom seen such a large funeral for a small child.
