Mrs. Force was a homemaker, and she formerly worked at the Mulberry Corner Bar and Grill, and Fickle's Grocery Store in Mulberry. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Rosary and Altar Society, the Ladies of Charity in Frankfort, Hoosier Grange, and the Frankfort American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas L. Force of Frankfort and Richard C. Force of Jacksonville, FL; a sister, Blanche Howell of New Albany; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, William David Force, seven sisters and six brothers.
