Pembroke - Emory Floyd, 66, died Saturday morning at Bulloch Memorial Hospital in Statesboro after a long illness.

The Bulloch County native lived most of his life in Bryan County. He was a World War II veteran, a retired farmer and a member of Pembroke Christian Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mamie Bacon Floyd of Pembroke; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Thelma Coleman of Metter; a sister, Mrs. Clarice Bacon of Pembroke; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services: 4 p.m. Monday at Morrison Funeral Home, burial in Lawrence Baptist Church Cemetery. Morrison Funeral Home.
