Judith A. Freund, 70, of Kiel, died unexpectedly on Monday evening, May 19, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton.
She was the former Judith Kattre, born June 13, 1943 in Kiel, daughter of Hazel (Buchman) Kattre and the late Harvey Kattre. She was a graduate of Kiel High School. On September 14, 1963 she was united in marriage to Robert Freund at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, New Holstein. Bob preceded her in death on October 20, 2008. Judy had previously worked at Richardson Brothers and Aurora Healthcare, Plymouth until her retirement. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren participate in various sports and was a Nascar fan.
Survivors include her two sons; Jeff (Val) Freund and their son, Nicholas of Plymouth, Chris (Renee) Freund & their sons, Cameron & Ryan of Kiel, her mother, Hazel Kattre, Kiel, brother, Henry (Rogene) Kattre, Kiel and brother-in-law, Howard (Pat) Freund, Columbus, Ohio. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Kattre and her husband, Bob.
Private funeral services were held at the Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, Kiel with burial in the Kiel City Cemetery.
