Evans Rites Set Sunday
Leonard — Cleburn Evans, 66-year-old veteran of World War II, died Saturday morning, March 4, 1972, in a Leonard nursing home following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon, at an hour yet to be announced, at the Taylor Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Jack Busby, United Methodist minister, officiating. Burial will be in the Fannin Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Evans was Born Oct. 14, 1905, in Southmayd, the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Evans. He was never married.
survivors include two sisters, Mrs. C.O. Robbins and Mrs. Lloyd Henry, both of Littlefield, and three brothers, Clarence Evans of Leonard Vernie Evans of Modesto, Calf., and Reda Evans of Littlefield.
