The death of Edward Emerson, who resided on the James Sheetz farm southwest of No. 10, occurred at 3:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon. He had been sick for a long time and his demise is attributed to lung trouble. Deceased was 29 years old and was well and favorably known in this county. A widow and one child survive. Mr. Emerson was a good citizen and was highly esteemed by all who knew him. The funeral will be conducted from the Sand Ridge church tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock and the interment will be made in the cemetery at the church.
