Margaret E. Brannin, 77, sister of Madison ex-mayor
A funeral mass was offered Saturday, Dec. 31, at Saint Virgil’s Church in Morris Plains, for Margaret E. Brannin of Morris Plains, who died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005, at Morristown Memorial Hospital. She was 77. Born in Madison, Mrs. Brannin lived in Morris Plains for 54 years. She was a bookkeeper at Hanco in East HanoverTownship for 48 years. Mrs. Brannin was a member of Saint Virgil’s Church. Her husband, Paul G. Brannin, died in 1978. She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Sommer of Coplay, Pa., and Terry Brannin of Madison; her brother, former Madison Mayor Jack Dunne of Madison; her sister, Irene Howard of Seminole Fla., and four nephews, two nieces, seven great-nephews and three great-nieces. Interment followed in Holy Rood Cemetery, Morris Township. Arrangements were by the Burroughs, Kohr and Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main St., Madison. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kaleidoscope of Hope Foundation, P.O. Box 1124, Madison, N.J. 07940.
