Annie Mae Dunbar, 81, of Roanoke, formerly of Fincastle, passed away August 8, 2006. She is preceded in death by her mother, Emma E. Dunbar; son Charles E. Dunbar. Annie is survived by a son, Scottie M. Dunbar, Sr. and his fiancé, Nancy; two daughters-in-law, Shirley M. Dunbar and Polly A. Humphreys; sister, Louise Niday; brother, Morris Dunbar; six grandchildren, Charles E. Dunbar, Jr. and his wife, Missie, Scottie Dunbar, Jr. and his wife, Nancy, Serena K. Cole, Amy Burkhalter and her husband, Danny, Virginia M. Dunbar and Stephanie D. Dunbar; eight great-grandchildren, Matthew, Lynsey, Calvin, Brittany, George, Sadie, Tanisha and Tamria; her special long time companion, Robert L. Slusher; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Friends are welcome to call Thursday, August 10, 2006 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Road, Daleville, where a service Celebrating Annie's Life will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in Rader's Chapel with the Rev.
