Mrs. Bernice Douglas
Mrs. Bernice King Douglas, 55, of 2831 Garrett Drive died at 2:15 a.m. today at the Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
The Warren County native was owner and operator of J&J Sheet Metal Shop and a member of the Bowling Green Homebuilders Association. She was also a member of Western Kentucky University Hilltopper 100 Club and was a trustee of the Order of the Eagles.
Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Living Hope Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation begins at 7 p.m. today at Arch L. Heady-Johnson Funeral Home.
Survivors include one son, Johnny W. Douglas of Bowling Green; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Madison and Mrs. Myrle Frye, both of Bowling Green, and Mrs. Pauline Hayes (sic) of Portland, Tenn., and several nieces and nephews.
