ANSONVILLE ­ George Frederick Demi, 72 of Ansonville, died in the Clearfield Hospital Wednesday morning at 9:20 o'clock following an extended illness. He was born in Brockport June 21, 1884, a son of the late Fredrick and Dolly (Brown) Demi. Mr. Demi is survived by these children: Mrs. Lillian Harris and Karl A. Demi, Curwensville; Howard L. with the U.S. Marine Corps in Hawaii; and a foster daughter Mrs. Gordon Maines, Clearfield. One brother, Ernest E. Demi of Phillipsburg, also survives. Funeral services will be held from the Leavy Funeral Home Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev Karl Schoonover of the Zion Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest cemetery, Clearfield. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday afternoon and evening until time of services Saturday. (Clearfield Progress 20 Dec 1956)
