LANCASTER - Mrs. Lucille Dallas Bowers, 83, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2004, in the Lancaster Convalescent Center. Mrs. Bowers was born April 27, 1921, in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Dallas. Mrs. Bowers was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 19, 2005, at 2 p.m. from the graveside in the Lancaster Memorial Park by the Rev. Rob O'Neal.
Mrs. Bowers is survived by a son, Mr. Donnie Bowers and his wife Barbara of Lancaster; three grandchildren, Todd Bowers and his wife Dawn of Lancaster, Melinda Moseley and her husband Scott of Irmo, S.C., and Beth Bowers of Lancaster; and three great-grandchildren, Cody Bowers, Blake Bowers, and Alex Moseley.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 1:45 p.m. Saturday, February 19, 2005, at the Cauthen Funeral Home, Lancaster Chapel and other times at the home of Donnie and Barbara Bowers, 3280 Sentry Road, Lancaster.
