Mary Ann was born to Russell and Roxie Crawford in Unionville, Missouri on June 3, 1930. She received her education from Centerville High School graduating in 1949. Mary Ann married Homer Bear on December 18, 1949. She enjoyed collecting dolls, crocheting, talking with people, gardening, cooking, spending time with her church family and time spent with her family and friends.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband Homer Bear of Centerville, two sons; Mose Bear(Beverly)of Russell, Mike(Jane)of Chariton, four grandchildren; Doug Bear(Amy)of Ankeny, Josh Bear(Stephanie)of Derby, Scott Bear(Jennifer)of Russell, two great grandchildren, Domanic Bear and Dawsyn Bear both of Derby. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mary Ann was preceded in death by a brother, Victor Crawford and a sister Dorothy Martin.
Funeral service will be 1:30 Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Thomas Funeral Home -23548 Hwy 5 -Centerville, Iowa. Visitation will be two hours prior from 11:30 until the time of service on Thursday. Interment will be in Crossroads Cemetery, west of Centerville. Memorials may be given to the family.
