BETTY LEE CRANFORD
Ms. Betty Lee Cranford, 73, of Panama City, Fla., passed away Wednesday October 8, 2003 at her home. She was born in Catawba County, NC and moved to Panama City from Okinawa, Japan in 1970. Ms. Crawford worked for several years in the textile industry before having a career in the U. S. Civil Service from which she retired. She loved to travel, play bingo, and garden flowers. Preceding her in death were her brother Nelson Lee, and her sisters Neva Cooke, Barbara Kissiah and Joyce Coley. Survivors (names edited out) include her three children, a brother, a sister, five grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Ms. Crawford will be held at the Southerland Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, October 13, 2003, at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Marty Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Lynn Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 12, 2003, from 4 to 6 p.m. Pallbearers for the service will be Glenn Rice, Mike Tumminello, Wayne Rice, Donnie George, Adrian Kosman, and Steve Pridgen.
