Robert John "Bob" Conway
Our beloved husband, father, friend and United States Marine.
Bob Conway passed away on Feb. 26, 2010.
He was born to John and Bernice (Kozlowski) Conway on Jan. 26, 1935 in Chicago, Ill.

He attended school in Chicago graduating from St. Margaret of Scotland Grade School in 1949 and Chicago Vocational High School in 1953. After high school Bob attended college in Chicago prior to honorably serving his country as a United States Marine. As a young lad Bob spent many happy summers fishing, swimming and boating on the Kankakee River with his dear friend Don Karsten. In 1960 sporting a brand new Buick he arrived in Idaho and worked on the construction of the new missile sites at Mountain Home Air Force Base. Later on Bob founded the successful business of Conway Supply. He married Barbara Paterson in 1966 and from that union Bob adopted two wonderful children, David and Tami and was blessed with the birth of his son John. From this family Bob was the grandfather of five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Bob married Luane Watson (Brent) on Valentines Day 1998 and they spent many great years together traveling to such places as Ireland and one special trip to watch BSU Broncos beat Oklahoma in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl. They both were very happy especially the days they got to spend on Manns Creek in Weiser and on the greens of Indian Lakes Golf Course. Bob was a big part of the Bronco Nation - he truly loved attending BSU Football wherever they played. He also truly enjoyed his time spent at his cabin in McCall.

Bob is survived by his wife Luane, his beloved sons and daughter David, John and Tami. He is also survived by his sisters Patricia Carr and Mary Anne Cunnane. With the marriage to Luane, Bob acquired four new stepchildren and grandchildren that he truly loved as his own - Cherie, Brent, Stacie and Kent.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Bernice and his brother the late John (Jack) Conway Jr.

Bob will always be remembered by his twinkling Irish Eyes and his broad smile. He never met a person he didn't like. It has to be mentioned the love he had for 16 year old Schotzie - that little dog was very special to Bob and gave him tremendous comfort over the past years.

A celebration of his life will be held at Indians Lake Golf Course at 2 p.m. on March 14. Memorials can be made in Bob's Name to the Weiser Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. Lodge #1683, Weiser Idaho or your favorite charity.

For all those who enjoyed Bob's company over the years we know he would appreciate a final toast honoring his life.
