Elaine C. Blatner, lifelong resident of Aurora, passed away Friday, September 21, 2012 at Provena Mercy Medical Center. She was 86 years old. She was born March 1, 1926 in Aurora, IL.
Elaine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her husband, George Blatner; three children, Cynthia (Loren) Leiseberg, Thomas (Kathy) Blatner and Kenneth (Connie) Blatner; six grandchildren, Meghan Leiseberg, Lisa (Jamie) Watson, Jodi Blatner, Andrew Blatner, Adam Blatner and Aaron Blatner; two great-granddaughters, McKenna Watson and Kaitlyn Watson; and two brothers, Dale (Pat) Conrad and Robert (Jan) Conrad.
She was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Agnes (Jungles) Conrad.
Funeral Mass offered by Fr. Jerome Leake will be Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 9:30 am, at St. Joseph Church, where she will lie in state from 9:00 am until the funeral hour. In accordance with Elaine's wishes, the family requests no flowers.
