Mr. Christopher Deandre Cone, age 16, passed peacefully into eternal rest on Monday evening after an extended illness, surrounded by his devoted family. He was a Bullloch County native and a member of Summerhill Missionary Baptist Church. He was an eleventh grade student at Statesboro High School, where he was an honor student. He was a devoted fan of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. He also enjoyed cooking with his mother, restoring old cars with his father, spending precious moments with his sister and gardening with his mema.
He is survived by his parents, William ans Laurinda Cone of Statesboro, GA,; one sister, Brianna Cone of Statesboro, Ga.; his maternal grandparents, Rozina (Henry) Shatteen of Statesboro, Ga; his paternal grandparents, the Rev. Willie (Teresa) Torrence of Portal, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral services for Mr. Christopher Cone will be held privately.
