Buford Cone, 77, died Friday at his residence in Harlem, GA.
He was a native of Bulloch County but resided in Harlem for the past 20 years. He was a retired self-employed electrician and plumber and a member of Scarboro Grove Baptist Church, Portal.
Survivors: include his wife, Mrs. Beatrice Cone, Harlem; one son, Leonard Cone, Boston; three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Smoot, Harlem, Mrs. Shirley Eason, Detroit; and Mrs. Mary Roscoe, Boston; three sisters, Mrs. Agnes Key, Statesboro, Ruthie Cone, Miami; and Mrs. Geneva Lane, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; one brother, Mr. Clifford Cone, Wildwood, Fla.; 27 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Scarboro Grove Baptist Church in Portal with the Rev. Larry Cone officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
