She was born February 6, 1956, in Pike County, the daughter of Amos and Edith Sue Bostic Coleman.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her parents, her husband, D.M. Adkins, a son, Mitchell Adkins, a daughter Kristy Stiltner, a sister, Anita Primeau, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at noon Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Lucas and Son Funeral Home, with Tommy Reed officiating. Burial will follow in the Coleman Family Cemetery.
Visitation is after 6 p.m. Sunday and Monday, with special services Monday at 7 P.M.
