Bobby Dean Cheser, age 84, of Willisburg, passed away at 7:58 a.m., Friday, January 13, 2017 at the Spring View Hospital in Lebanon. A native of Washington County, he was born on June 11, 1932 to the late William H. and Evangeline Foster Cheser. He was a member of the Willisburg Baptist Church, a 1950 graduate of Willisburg High School and a retired farmer. Preceding him in death was a son, Roger Dale Cheser on February 27, 2015 and his twin brother, Billie Gene Cheser on February 2, 2011.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Harmon Cheser; a son, Larry Cheser (Debbie) of Harrodsburg; a daughter, Rita Milburn (Brad) of Willisburg; four grandchildren, Clay Cheser (Ann Weslen), Will Cheser (Crissi), Alex Cheser and Missy Milburn; three great grandchildren, Matt Cheser, Ann Clayton Cheser and Prudence Cheser and two sisters, Eldora Akin (Herman) of Willisburg and Jane Cropper (David) of Tompkinsville.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, January 16, at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. J.W. Hatfield, pastor of the Willisburg Baptist Church, officiating. He will be assisted by Sean Richmond. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Missy Milburn, Ann Weslen Cheser, Crissi Cheser and Sean Richmond. Casket bearers will be Clay Cheser, Will Cheser, Alex Cheser, Terry Cheser, Danny Akin and Greg Cropper. Visitation will be from 3 until 8 p.m. Sunday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
