A native of Washington County, she was born on August 28, 1934 to the late Arthur and Zula Frances Smock Harmon.
She was a member of the Willisburg Baptist Church, a 1952 graduate of Mackville High School and a homemaker.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Bobby Dean Cheser on January 13, 2017; a son, Roger Dale Cheser on February 27, 2015; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Cheser on June 20, 2021; three sisters, Wilma Harmon, Myrtle Derringer and Cynthia Edwards and seven brothers, Calvin, J.C., Kenneth, Theodore, Hollis, Curtis "Joe" and Arthur Harmon.
Survivors include a son, Larry Cheser of Georgetown; a daughter, Rita Milburn (Brad) of Willisburg; four grandchildren, Clay Cheser (Ann Weslen), Will Cheser (Crissi), Alex Cheser and Missy Richmond (Sean); four great grandchildren, Matt Cheser, Ann Clayton Cheser, Prudence Cheser and Gib Cheser and a sister, Cora Mae Shely of Shelbyville.
A graveside service and interment will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 20th at the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg with Rev. J.W. Hatfield, pastor of the Willisburg Baptist Church, officiating.
There will be no visitation.
