Anna Mae (Kaltreider) Case, of York and formerly of Jefferson, died October 2, 2010. She was the beloved wife of Austin H. Case who died in 1989.

Anna Mae was born in Codorus Township, on June 1, 1924, the adopted daughter of the late Gilbert S. Reever and Maggie M. (Coslow) Reever.

Anna Mae was the assistant tax collector for York City for over 23 years and retired in 1982. She was previously employed for 20 years at Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. in York.

She was a member of St. Jacobs (Stone) U.C.C. for many years and Trinity U.C.C. in Glen Rock. Anna Mae was also a member of the ladies Auxiliary of Jefferson Volunteer Fire Co., Hanover Chapter #378 Order of the Eastern Star and the Jefferson Chapter #3600 of AARP.

Anna Mae is survived by a brother, Laverne Bortner of Spring Grove; and numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and a great-great-niece and a great-great-nephew.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Ardella Schuchart and Geraldine Cosgrove.

Mrs. Case was laid to rest next to her husband at Jefferson Cemetery.
