Irma V. Capanna, 88, of West Chester, died Monday April 1, 2013, at Barclay Friends. She was the wife of the late Frederick V. Capanna, Sr.
Born in Phoenixville, she was the daughter of the late George Kellemen and the late Agnes Barnaria Kellemen. Irma worked as a technician at Wyeth Labs.
She was a member of St. Agnes Church.
Irma enjoyed knitting, quilting, baking and having Sunday dinners. She will always be remembered as a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, who loved to take care of her family.
Irma is survived by her children, Cheryl C. Wallace and her husband Timothy of West Chester, Fred Capanna Jr. and his wife Nancy, of Hatfield, Carol Capanna of Lake Worth, Fla.; and granddaughters, Brittany Fellin, Courtney Wallace, and Sara Capanna.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11 a.m., at St. Agnes Church, 233 W. Gay St., West Chester, PA 19380.
Interment will be at Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer.
