Francine Campbell, 92, of Hobbs, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, Dec. 28, 2007 at Griffin Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be 3 p.m. CST Friday, Dec. 28 in Trinity Memorial Park Cemetery in Big Spring. The family will receive friends from 5 - 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007 at the funeral home.

Francine was born on March 26, 1915 in Lindale, Texas to Roy and Lollie Bookout Cook. She married Howard Campbell in Carlsbad, N.M. and they celebrated 44 loving years of marriage until his death in 1996. Mrs. Campbell enjoyed sewing and quilting and loved to travel. She was a member of Taylor Memorial Baptist Church. Her parents, her husband, a sister and two brothers preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughters, Arlene Bunch and her husband, Darrel, of Carrollton, and Lunell Barrington, of Mesquite; her sisters, Myrtle Winkler and Beatrice Crum; her brother Col. Jetty R. Cook and his wife, Wanda; four granddaughters; and seven great-grandchildren.
