OBITUARY: Cassius Albert Burks, 19 Sep 1955 - Smith Co, TX

Cash A. Burks Dies at Age of 75
Cash Albert Burks, 75, of Bullard died at 11 P. M. Monday after
a long illness. He had lived in Bullard 60 years, where he was a
farmer.
Funeral services will be at 3 p. m. Wednesday in the Bullard
Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. W. A. Kelley, and the Rev.
John Lance of Tyler officiating. Interment will be in the Bullard
cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Kate Burks, Five sons, Logan
and Harold Burks of Dallas, Gordon Burks of Georgetown, Weldon Burks
of Dialville, and Loyd Burks of Rusk; three daughters, Mrs. Gertrude
Bickerstaff and Mrs. Katrina Maudlin, both of Bullard and Mrs. Bill
Tillery of Jacksonville; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Harrison of
Palestine and Mrs. Pearl Rapp of Washington D. C. , 24 grandchildren
and eight great gradchildren.
Gragard-Spraggins-Swofford funeral home is in charge of
arrangements.
