Brandon attended Schlagle High School but graduated from J.C. Harmon High School in 2000. He participated in the Marching Band (Schlagle) and was known as the class clown.
He had two kids his oldest, Elyiah B. Brown and Brandon B. Brown, II, and a step-daughter, Ja'Niyah Johnson who he accepted as his own.
Brandon's belief in Christ began at home at an early age. He accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Kansas City, Kansas under the leadership of Pastor Edward E. Washington. He participated in the L.J. Flower Special (the youth choir). He loved to work and help others when needed. He worked at Pizza Hut, Wal-Mart and Labor Source, where he traveled to natural disasters areas to help clean and rebuild. His last job was in Joplin, Missouri, where he assisted on the tornado clean up in 2010.

Funeral Services for Brandon Bernard Brown will be held on Saturday, April 27, 11:00 a.m. at Landmark International Ministries, 8701 Sni-A-Bar Road. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at The Church.
