Brandon Bernard Brown was born on February 13, 1982, in Kansas City, Kansas to Elizabeth A. "Betty" Brown, and Tyrone Salisbury. He was the oldest of seven children.

He departed this earthly life on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, in Kansas City, Missouri.

Brandon attended Schlagle High School but graduated from J.C. Harmon High School in 2000. He participated in the Marching Band (Schlagle) and was known as the class clown.

He had two kids his oldest, Elyiah B. Brown and Brandon B. Brown, II, and a step-daughter, Ja'Niyah Johnson who he accepted as his own.

Brandon's belief in Christ began at home at an early age. He accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Kansas City, Kansas under the leadership of Pastor Edward E. Washington. He participated in the L.J. Flower Special (the youth choir). He loved to work and help others when needed. He worked at Pizza Hut, Wal-Mart and Labor Source, where he traveled to natural disasters areas to help clean and rebuild. His last job was in Joplin, Missouri, where he assisted on the tornado clean up in 2010.

Brandon Bernard Brown leaves to cherish his memory, his two kids, Elyiah Brown and Brandon Brown; his mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Brown; step-father, George Wilson; three sisters: Sharita Brown-Lowery (Marcus), Ariane Brown, and Cathy Brown; three brothers: Gerald Brown, Alvin Brown (Kashyra), and Brian Brown; his cousin/brother, Nathaniel Brown; cousin/sister, LaCreasha Brown; nephews, Darius and Marcus; nieces; Ma'Sharia, Aubrey, and Aaliyah; God-sister, Mika and brother, Trey; aunts: Lonzella Brown, Maggie Walker, Debra Brown, and Gladis Person (Dana); uncles: Granvile O'Neal (Pameliah), Edward Lawrence Brown, Bishop John Brown (Bernice), Pastor Robert Brown (Lavera), and Larry Brown; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relative, and friends.

Funeral Services for Brandon Bernard Brown will be held on Saturday, April 27, 11:00 a.m. at Landmark International Ministries, 8701 Sni-A-Bar Road. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at The Church.
