Gladys passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012 at the Homestead of Sherman.
She was born on July 19, 1918 the daughter of Lewis and Susie Sikes Riddle. Gladys married S.E. Brooks on Nov. 28, 1940. He preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 1996.
Gladys is survived by her daughter, Brenda Dutton, grandson, Gary Dutton and wife Teresa; granddaughter, Angela Dutton; two great-grandchildren, Megan and Drew Dutton; brother Ben Riddle and sister, Julia Knox. She is also survived by her special friend Greta Cecil.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Jerry Don Brooks, grandson, Eldon David Dutton, son-in-law, Eldon Dutton, three sisters, Evelyn Martin, Edna Didonna and Lois Gotcher and two brothers, Lee Riddle and Tommie Riddle.
