E. Mildred Albertson, 91, of Marshallton, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2005.

She was the wife of the late A. Richard Albertson, who died in 1977.

Born in White Horse, Willistown Township, on Feb. 16, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Walter James and Mary Emma Broadbelt.

She graduated from West Chester High School and then married.

She and her husband were dairy farmers at their "Mountainhouse Farm" on Strasburg Road in West Bradford, where she lived most of her life.

She was a Baptist by faith.

She was a life member of Pennsylvania Flying Farmers, a charter member of Aero Club of Chester County, a member of International Flying Farmers, director of Aviation Council of Pennsylvania, Silver Wings Fraternity, the West Bradford Fire Company, and the All American Aviation 49ers.

She is survived by her daughter, Edith Brown of West Chester; her son, Richard S. Albertson of Kirtland, N.M.; a sister, Myrtle Zittle of Downingtown; and a nephew, Verl Bennett of West Whiteland.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles, and sisters Anna Bennett and Edith Way.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29, at the Boyd Funeral Home, 101 S. Church St., West Chester, with the Rev. James T. Olsen officiating.

Family and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home on Thursday.

Interment will be in Bradford Cemetery, Marshallton.
