She is survived by her husband Billy Brandt of Park Hill; her son Will Brandt and wife Beth of Park Hill; daughter Kari Martin and husband Kyle of Park Hill; three grandchildren, Jude and Quin Brandt, Kyler Martin; her sister Karen Cook of Edmond; stepmother Tina Patterson of Edmond and stepsister Priscilla Gibson of Joplin, Mo., and a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and a slew of family and friends.

Marsha was born February 27, 1953 in Oklahoma City, Okla., to Mickey and Dolores Blake. She was a graduate of Edmond High School and attended Central State College and Northeastern State University. She was married to the love of her life, Billy, in June of 1975 and had a wonderful honeymoon to Florida. This was the first of their many fun filled adventures together which included sailing the Caribbean, skiing the mountains of Colorado, fall camping trips with friends, cruising to Alaska and an adventurous trip to Hawaii.

In 1978, she and her husband moved to Lake Tenkiller, Okla., where Billy ran B&B Lumber Yard and she was a homemaker. She was a generous person who loved helping others. Her favorite times of the year were the holidays where she loved to decorate her home, but more so, she loved giving to those in need. She loved her Christmas Angels and the past few years, found much pleasure in purchasing coats and blankets for needy single moms and their children.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. Thursday, October 1. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, October 2, at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel in Edmond, with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Marsha’s life.
