Boyce, Marjorie Ellen, 85, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, died August 23, 2006 in Dallas, Texas. She was born June 25, 1921 in Stroud, Oklahoma to Glade and Katie Burton. After moving to Oklahoma City, she met and married Dale W. Boyce and had two daughters. Marjorie was blessed with a great sense of humor, and was loved by all. She retained a cheery disposition despite the heartbreak of losing a brother, Clem, during WWII, and later her husband and daughter to cancer. She enjoyed a wonderful community of neighbors on Clermont Place as she and Dale raised their children in the 50's and 60's, and was fortunate to have a supportive, loving family, including her favorite "S.I.L.", (son-in-law), Jim Benien. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Dale, and her daughter, Linda Benien of Tulsa. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Boyce of Dallas, grandson Michael Benien, his wife Susan and son James of San Antonio, granddaughters Lacie Benien of Tulsa and Brittany Benien of San Antonio. Also, her sisters, Gayle Johnson of Oklahoma City and Dorothy Murray and her husband Lee Murray of Tulsa and many loving nieces and nephews, whose calls, visits and letters brought her joy during her last years.
