Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Gililland-Watson Funeral Home Rose Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Tingle of First Baptist Church of Miles, the Rev. Jim Bulin, pastor of Avenue Baptist Church, and Leonard Foster, retired minister of Carlsbad, N.M., officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Barnett was born Oct. 26, 1921, in Freestone County. She married A. E. "Buck" Barnett on Sept. 3, 1940, in Waco.
Survivors include three daughters, Nelda Rogers of Canyon, Billie Gunn of Dimmitt and Doris Smith of Abilene; a brother, Wade Bottoms of Teague; a sister, Berry Sims of Seminole; six grandchildren; and three
great-grandchildren.
