I've been reviewing the memorials in the old Wellington "Pioneer" Cemetery and saw yours for Amos Botkin. My husband and I had made an index of items from the old newspapers published in Wellington and it shows an item in the January 25, 1894 Monitor-Press newspaper that said he had died "Friday", which would have been January 19, and that he was 78 years old, an invalid, born in Pennsylvania in 1815 and was a member of the G.A.R. I also have a list of G.A.R. Honor Roll members which lists him as dying on January 18, 1894. Thought you would appreciate these tidbits, since there is no (or no longer a) stone for him.
