Geraldine Blair Sutton (Gerri Sutton)
Geraldine Blair Sutton, 77, South Dixie Street, London, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, at Saint Joseph-London.
Native of Laurel County, she was born March 5, 1932, the daughter of the late Chester Blair and Marie Allen Blair.
She was a bookkeeper for Begley Drug for 30-plus years and an employee of Diane McCowan Academy of Dance for 12 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of London.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James W. "Bill" Sutton.Survivors include two sons, Eddie Sutton and wife, Mary Jo, of London, and Craig Sutton and wife, Lisa, of East Bernstadt, Ky.; two grandchildren, Evan Sutton, of London, and Ashley Sutton, of East Bernstadt; two brothers, Edward Blair and Edsel Blair, both of London.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, at House-Rawlings Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Terry Lester officiating.
Burial will follow in A.R. Dyche Memorial Park in London. Visitation will be Sunday from noon until the funeral hour. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Kentucky State Police Trooper Island Camp, 919 Versailles Road, Frankfort, KY, or the American Cancer Society.
