Edward Chester Blair, age 80, of London, KY passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Nannie M. Blair; his children, Tina Grigsby and husband Bill of London, KY, Geri Campbell and husband Steve of Verona, KY, Edward Chester Blair the Second “Buck” and wife Shannon of London, KY; six grandchildren, Trevor Grigsby, Blake Campbell, Hannah Johnson, Chelsey Campbell, Dylan Blair, and Brooklyn Blair; eight great grandchildren, Wylie Cate Grigsby, Tucker Johnson, Drake Grigsby, Tanner Johnson, Baron Grigsby, Lilah Campbell, Amelia Campbell, Eleanor Campbell, and Steven Everett Campbell due later this year.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Marie Allen Blair; his sister, Geraldine Sutton; his twin brother, Edsel Blair.
Edward was a loving husband of over 59 years, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Edward served the Lord for decades as a church Deacon, Chairman of Deacons, Sunday School teacher, and song and choir leader. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
Funeral services for Edward Chester Blair will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Shawn Allen officiating. Burial will follow at the A. R. Dyche Memorial Park in London, KY. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
