Vicki E. Appleman, 66, of Wilmington, Ohio died February 24, 2014 at her residence. Her husband, David W. Appleman, survives. They were married March 16, 1998. Mrs. Appleman was born June 14, 1947 in Wilmington, Ohio, daughter of the late Denzil and Eleanor Garrison Birmingham. She was a 1965 graduate of Wilmington High School.
Mrs. Appleman retired from National City Bank. She was a member of the Martinsville Church of Christ, but attended the Wilmington Church of Christ. She enjoyed buying, selling, and researching items on EBay. She loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Appleman is survived by a daughter, of Wilmington, Ohio; two sisters; two grandchildren; her nieces and nephews; as well as several great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, a son, Robert Collier and an aunt, Beulah Brown are preceded in death.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Monday, March 3, 2014 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Sunday, March 2, 2014 and from 12:00 Noon – 1:00 PM, Monday, March 3, 2014 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home.
