Hassel 'Tinie' Swinney Berry, age 75, of 408 E. Pine Street, Palestine, Texas died January 5, 1966 at Anderson County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Texas on July 29, 1890, to the late James Albert Swinney and Della Gage (her death certificate gives her maiden name as Smith but I believe Gage is correct). She had lived in Palestine for 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Belle Berry in 1944.
