Survivors: sons, John B. of Hayward, Calif., Dennis J., James L., both of Wichita; brothers, Roy Schaaf of Halifax, N.C., Tony Schaaf of Pasco, Wash.; sisters, Clementine Voss of Mountain View, Calif., Magdalene Olson of Fremont, Calif.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Memorial has been established with the American Diabetes Association. Lakeview Funeral Home.
