Lewistown, IL - Earline Ackerman, 96, of Lewistown passed away Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, at Renaissance Care Center in Canton.

She was born on May 27, 1917 in Roseville to Earl and Christina (Krotz) Beckner. Earline married Thomas Herron in 1935. He preceded her in death. She later married Dick Ackerman on February 23, 1957.

He survives along with one daughter, Sue (Herron) Monn, three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Also preceding him in death are one son, William Herron; two brothers; and three sisters.

Burial will be in Apple Cemetery.
