The death of Joseph Beardsley a well known farmer residing three miles south of Churchville occurred
at his home Monday forenoon from heart disease. Mr. Beardsley had been laboring in a hay field near, his home when he was overcome. He started to go to the house and after walking about one half the distance he sat down in the field until he commenced to feel better when he arose and walked to his house Soon after arriving in the sitting room he fell to the floor and upon investigation it was found that he was dead. Deceased was 57 years old and a veteran of the civil war. He
leaves to mourn his loss, a wife and three children . Mrs. Milton Smith of Scottsville; and Mrs. Ira Hurling of Riga, and Lewis also of Riga
