WEST COLUMBIA - Funeral services for Lillis Elizabeth Mack, 85, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 23, 2008, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel, with interment in Bush River Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2008, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Andrews Baptist Church, 230 Bush River Road, Columbia, S.C. 29210.
Mrs. Mack was born March 31, 1923, in Rembert and passed away Friday, November 21, 2008. She was a daughter of the late Edwin Simeon and Elise Lee Barnes. Mrs. Mack retired from the Richland County Treasurer's Office and was a member of St. Andrews Baptist Church.
Mrs. Mack is survived by her husband, Reese B. Mack; children, Stan Mack (Lynne), Jeannie Krawzyk (John) and Gwen Rogers, all of Columbia; grandchildren, Jamie Mack (Tracy) of Irmo, Jason Mack (Jacque) of Greenville, and Lisa Mack of Myrtle Beach; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Louise Newman of Sumter, Iris Cox of Cayce, Mary Bond of Columbia, Ida Lee Lockridge of Columbia, and Nell Fetner of Jacksonville; brother, Jerry Barnes of Charlotte, N.C. and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Mack was predeceased by her brother, Heyward E. Barnes (Dorothy) and sister Rhay Emrie.
