COLUMBIA – Funeral services for Reese B. Mack, 89, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home chapel.
Mr. Mack was born January 4, 1924 in Orangeburg, SC and passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2013. He was a son of the late John Edgar Mack and Bermetter Smith Mack. Mr. Mack was a member of St. Andrews Baptist Church. He served his country in the United States Army and retired from the insurance industry.
Mr. Mack is survived by his son, Stan Mack (Lynne) of Columbia; daughters, Jeannie Krawzyk (John) of Columbia and Gwen Rogers of Columbia; grandchildren, Jamie Mack (Tracey), Jason Mack, Lisa Mack, Byron Westerfield (Gayla), Larry Westerfield (Linda) and Kim Westerfield; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Smitty Mack (Sandra) and Truett Mack (Mary) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Lillis Elizabeth Mack; brothers, Eldridge and Rudolph Mack.
