Eljane M. Ryskoski

Of Stevens Point died early Thursday evening June 18, 2015 at Brookdale Assisted Living Center in Stevens Point while under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice.

Age 74 Eljane was born July 22, 1940 in Stevens Point She was the daughter of the late John and Annastasia (Tomczak) Bannach. She married James "Jim" Strong, the couple later divorced. She then married Carl G. Ryskoski on November 28, 1981. After their marriage the couple settled in Stevens Point. Her husband Carl preceded her in death on January 3, 2012.

In her younger years Eljane worked for Weber Tackle Co. and the South Side IGA. She later worked for the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point and Herschner's retiring in 2006. She loved watching Packer games and having grill outs. Her most precious time was being with her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials in her name can be sent to Ministry Home Care Hospice Program.

Survivors include her children; Keith (Diane) Strong of Stevens Point, Karen (Michael) Dudeck of Plover, JoAnn (Jerry) Rozak of Custer and Kevin Strong of Berlin, WI. Her Step Children; Carol Forseth of Amherst, Patty Ryskoski of Stevens Point, Dan (Bernett) Ryskoski of Plover and Barb (Brian) Maslowski of Stevens Point.

Her grandchildren; CaSandra (Dave) Schneider, Kirbi (Jason) Wisinski, Jason (Leslie) Strong, Joshua (Lindsay) Cisewski, Kimberly Cisewski, Travis (Lacey) Cisewski, Elijah Strong and Micah Strong. Step Grandchildren; Ry Forseth, Alyssa Ryskoski, Kyle Ryskoski, Robert Newby and Edward Maslowski. Six Great Grandchildren and two Step Great Grandchildren.

Further survived by one Sister Bernell Basinski of Stevens Point and numersous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one Brother Eugene and four Sisters Delores, Lorraine, Sylvia and Arlene.

Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday June 23, 2015 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Stevens Point Rev. Thomas Lindner officiating. Burial will be in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Family and friends may call Tuesday morning from 9:30 A.M. at Holy Spirit Church until the time for mass. The Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home of Stevens Point is honored to be serving the family.
