Ralph A. Balser, 78, of Crawfordsville, passed away at 12:12 pm Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at St. Vincent’s Hospice in Indianapolis.
He was born February 23, 1937, in Lafayette, to the late Clarence and Dorothy Babb Balser.
He attended Business College and served in the United States Air Force.
On October 11, 1961 he married Marilyn I. Rishel in Lafayette and she survives.
Ralph was an office manager at Vectren for several years before retiring in 1995.
Surviving along with his wife are two sons, Randy and Jerry Balser both of Crawfordsville; and a brother, Sam Balser (Dorothy) of Lafayette.
He was preceded in death by two brothers Donnie and Russ Balser.
Visitation will be from 12 noon until the time of the service at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd Lafayette, IN 47909. Burial will follow at Rainsville Cemetery.
