Audry F. Baker, 86, (formerly of New Hampton, MO) passed away at the home of her daughter.
She was born in Harrison County, Missouri the daughter of Ivan and Edith Fern (Smith) Fletchall. She attended Washington Center grade school and graduated from Martinsville High School in 1947.
On April 18, 1949, she married Theodore Junior Baker. He preceded her in death on April 20, 2014.
Audry attended Northwest Missouri State College and taught school at Solomon and Muddy Valley rural schools. Audry also worked at Webb’s Grocery and First State Bank in New Hampton as Assistant Vice President and Cashier for 24 years.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; great grandson, Jamin Daniel Baker; brother, Gale Fletchall; 2 sisters, Leta Arnold and Eva Lee King; and 3 brothers-in-law, Wayne Arnold, Byron King and John Barnes.
Survivors include daughter, Sherri (Dick) James, Plattsburg, MO; sons, Mitchell (Luwana) Baker, Cleveland, TN and Ronnie (Anna) Baker, California, MO; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Roberta Barnes and sister-in-law, Joan Fletchall, Bethany, MO; brothers-in-law, Boyd (Mavadene) Baker, Martinsville, MO and Eldon (Connie) Baker, Cleveland, MO and several nieces and nephews.
