Obituary - Amanda J. Baker - Funeral services were held Friday afternoon in the Richfield Second Ward chapel for Mrs. AMANDA CAROLINE JENSEN BAKER, 78, of Richfield, wife of the late William George Baker, who died September 16 at Soda Springs, Idaho where she had been visiting her daughter.
Bishop LeGrande C. Frank presided at the services. Speakers were Mrs. John Hiskey, a life long friend, who had been closely associated with the Bakers when they lived at Boulder; W.L. Warner, and Bishop Frank. Mrs. G. Sorenson read a poem, she had written for the occasion and a tribute from Camp Cove D.U.P., was read by Mrs. Wm. Gardner. A quartet composed of Mrs. L.A. Poulson, Mrs. D.E. Ostler, R.O. Jackman and Talmage DeLange, accompanied by Mrs. Wm. Osborne, sang the opening and closing songs, "Lead Kindly Light", and "Abide With Me". A duet, "Whispering Hope", was sung by L.A. Poulson and Mrs. Otto L. Anderson. Talmage DeLange sang "Lay My Head Beneath A Rose". The invocation was by Bishop Alex Jensen of the Richfield Third Ward; the benediction by J.B. Wilson. Claud V. Baker of Boulder dedicated the grave, interment being in the Richfield Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Guy Baker, Bradley Wilson, Grant Larsen, Reed M. Ogden, and two grandsons, Mr. Condie of Idaho and Mr. Nielson of Marysvale.
Relief Society members carried the many beautiful floral tributes.
