Mr. Baker was born December 13, 1946 in Muncie, Indiana, a son of the late John and Dorothy White Baker. He was a retired Photo Lab Manager with Wal-mart and a U. S. Army Veteran. Mr. Baker was a member of White Oak Presbyterian Church. Don enjoyed playing his guitar, playing with the band, writing both Christian and Rock music, cooking, reading, photography, gardening, animals, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren and family.
Surviving are His Wife, Cathy Snipes Baker of the home; Two Daughters, Sarah (Brandon) Downer of Chesterfield, SC and Adrienne (Kedar III) Brown of Indian Trail, NC; Three Grandchildren, Zachary Downer, Kedar Brown IV, and Penny Downer; Two Brothers, Jim (Lydia) Baker of Chaska, MN. And David (Anita) Baker of San Antonio, FL; One Sister, Janet Baker of Muncie, IN.
Funeral Services were held at 4:00pm on Friday, July 5, 2013, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in White Oak Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
