Graveside services for Altie M. Bain, 80 of Nashville were held Tuesday, January 12, 1999 at Whorton Springs
Cemetery in Smithville.

A native of DeKalb County, Mrs. Bain died January 9 at Quality Care Nursing Home in Lebanon.
She was a member of the New Covenant Church of Nashville and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Bain and son Jimmie Lee Bain in 1995 .

Mrs. Bain is survived by one son, Herbert Bain, Jr. of Nashville; one daughter, Frankie Dean
Shelton of Nashville; two sisters, Jodie Forbes of Mt. Juliet and Charlene Coffee of Dowelltown;
one brother, James Hale of Alexandria; nine grandchildren and 17 greatgrandchildren.
Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home
was in charge of arrangements.
