Mrs. Belle Austin,57, of Oxford, died Friday at 3:25 p.m. at Coosa Valley Nursing Home in Gadsden following a long illness.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Oscar Cotton and the Rev. Charles Wilkens officiating.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Willie Mae Middlebrooks and Mrs. Bauline Young of Maderia, Calif., and Mrs. Marie Walker, of Anniston; two sons, John Willis Austin of Oxford, Carl Austin of Anniston; three sisters, Mrs. Olive Marks of Oxford, Mrs. Mae Bentley of Anniston, Mrs. Lizzie Austin of Anniston, three brothers, James Thomas and John Thomas of Anniston and seven grandchildren.
She was a resident of Calhoun County most of her life and a member of White Plains Baptist Church.
Pallbearers include Jerry Barhand, Thomas Bentley, Radford Hamilton, Lee Dixter, Gerald Hamilton and Floyd Martin.
